Summary
Part-time Lead Speech & Language Therapist role supporting adults within specialist rehabilitation and secure services. Focus on assessment, treatment planning, and team leadership within a multidisciplinary setting.

Overview
Salary: £30,000 – £33,000 per year. Part-time, 22.5 hours per week. Onsite working. Fully remote working is not available.
HCPC registration required. Postgraduate qualification awarded by RCSLT required. Relevant post-registration experience within a specialist area required.
Right to Work in the UK is required.

What you’ll do

• Manage and coordinate individual speech and language therapy treatment plans
• Assess referrals and prioritise patient needs
• Deliver interventions on an individual and group basis
• Support patients with communication and swallowing difficulties, including dysphagia
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records
• Lead and support junior team members
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes
• Contribute to development of therapy practices and services

What you’ll need

• Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
• HCPC registration
• Postgraduate qualification recognised by RCSLT
• Experience in a specialist clinical area
• Experience working with dysphagia and clinical assessments
• Leadership or Band 7 level experience, or readiness to step into leadership
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in supervision and reflective practice
