iGo Recruitment is supporting an established care provider with the appointment of an experienced Clinical Lead (RGN) for a nursing and dementia care service in Chard, Somerset.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse to step into a leadership role, supporting the delivery of outstanding care while helping to develop and guide nursing and care teams within a well-established service.

About the Role

As Clinical Lead, you will play a key role in maintaining clinical excellence across the service, supporting staff development and ensuring residents receive safe, effective and person-centred care.

Working closely with the wider management team, you will promote best practice, support clinical governance and contribute to positive outcomes for residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing and care teams
• Assess, plan and review resident care needs
• Ensure safe medication management and clinical governance standards
• Support, mentor and develop nursing and care staff
• Maintain accurate care records and clinical documentation
• Work collaboratively with residents, families and healthcare professionals
• Promote a culture focused on quality, safety and resident wellbeing

About You

To be considered for this opportunity, you will ideally have:

• Current NMC registration (RGN)
• Previous experience in a Clinical Lead, Senior Nurse or similar role
• Experience working within a nursing home environment
• Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills
• Knowledge of CQC regulations and quality standards
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• A passion for delivering high-quality care and positive resident outcomes
